This one is really different; it’s truly one-of-a-kind in its own right. Some have characterized it as revolutionary, subversive, dark, subliminal, and totally awesome.

To begin, each episode tells a different story, presents a fresh take on a taboo topic, or offers a radical new outlook on the future. There isn’t a way to review this show as a whole because every episode is different.

In one word, it’s mind-blowing, as it is one of the most original and exceptional miniseries ever made. While there are certain episodes better than others, I, as a devoted techno-nerd, love the ideas behind those that combine technology in extreme ways and humanity.

The idea behind Black Mirror is that it’s essentially a mirror of a utopia, where the greatest aspects of humankind and technology come together to create dark, dramatic, or even just black comedy.

To put it simply, it’s brilliant in the most disturbing way possible.

I just finished season 7, and although I think this is one of the best shows I’ve ever watched, I didn’t give it a perfect five stars because there were a few episodes that I found to be a little strange or uninteresting. Still, it’s an AMAZING SHOW that I highly recommend watching.
